Situated amidst the beautiful Southern Alpine region of South Tyrol at the borders of Italy, Austria and Switzerland, Venosta Valley is characterized by its unique arid climate and by some of the highest mountains in the entire Alps. Venosta Valley is characterized by its unique arid climate and more than 300 days of sun per year.
The valley provides a trail network including technical high alpine tracks to flowy purpose built tracks.

- Goldsee trail starting at the Stilfser Joch down to Glurns
- Tibet trail starting at the Stilfser Joch down to Trafoi
- Bim-Bam trail starting at the Stilfser Joch and sharing the first part of the Goldsee trail and going down to Tarfoi
- Holy Hanson trail starting at Goldrain
- Sonnenberg / Monte Sole / Sunny Benny trail starting at Latsch (take the Gondola from Latsch to St. Martin am Kofel)
